Pros

It's a job; that's it

Cons

The company is a disorganized mess. Communication is lacking from the top down. Several ethical/legal violations get swept under the rug. Unless you are a physician, you don't matter. You will be nothing more than a drone to crank out work. The workload has increased exponentially, yet the pay remains critically low if you're a "peon". Their benefits are astronomical. Leadership needs lessons in actual leadership. There's an overall accepted culture of nepotism, favoritism, shady ethics and hostility. The "Good Old Boys" Club is alive and well.

Pros

They provide a paycheck in a timely manner

Cons

Slow to provide raises, constant review of the bottom line, more attention is paid to nonmedical and nonpatient care, feel good, patient satisfaction than paying attention to patient care and good providers. They will let good providers go and keep poor providers.

Pros

Environment, people, and leadership are easy going and fun to work with. Mentoring is abundant. Diversity is wide spread, starting at the top.

Cons

Low pay compared to similar positions elsewhere. Health insurance rates are ridiculously high- $500+ per month, for family coverage. 80/20 rule is abundant due to leadership unwillingness to manage out ineffective employees. New managers not provided training or followup, so lots of bullies around the mid-levels.
