Communication is severely lacking at TeamHealth. An entire action plan, developed over months can disappear overnight without the primary stakeholders even being involved in the conversation. Luckily, this is something the company is aware of because of recent engagement surveys, so I hope this will be a primary focus.
Benefits are subpar compared to many other companies, especially in the healthcare industry with the number of employees we have. This seems very counterintuitive to me.
Administrative employee care. Most of us working in this industry on the administrative side do so because we want to make a difference and improve healthcare similarly to our clinicians. For that reason, our focus remains steadfast on meeting the needs of our clinicians to ensure the highest level of care to patients; however, someone needs to care for us as well.
Traditional office environment. TeamHealth needs to update their policies when it comes to dress code and general office atmosphere. We lose quality, young professionals to companies with more relaxed working environments. We spend 1/3 of our time here, and I think that comfort should be an expectation to promote mental wellness.
