Pros

Salary was good, and clients were easy to work with.

Cons

This is for the Valencia, CA Branch. No benefits, No 401K, No travel expense compensation to client locations. The Owner has no direction or experience in the Manage Service Provider (MSP) environment. There was only 3 employees total at this branch, the Owner, a Part-Time Technician, and myself, a Senior Technician. The Owner is clueless on how to sign up new potential clients even when I offered advice, they don't understand or know how to use their any of their own softwares/applications, no training given, and expected to learn everything on my own. This specific branch has gone through many other Technicians before I came in. The ticketing system was in complete chaos when I started that had been backed up since March 2020 - 4 months before I started. I had to rebuild relationships with Owner's clients since tensions were very high. I was working remotely 90% of the time when I started the job and always communicated with the boss via Microsoft Teams, CC’ing on emails, talked over the phone, but In the last few weeks this suddenly changed for no apparent reason and the Owner started to micromanage and I was accused of “plotting against them” – claimed I wasn’t “doing my job” after completing dozens of tickets and projects within the 3 months of working here. Expectations were too high, and the owner flip flopped on responsibilities constantly.

Pros

This will be the #1 MSP you ever work for. Bet on it. Competitive pay. Unbelievable benefits that are covered 100%: - Full medical, dental, and vision. - 401K with a ridiculously generous match. - Maternity AND Paternity leave. - 3 weeks PTO each year (2 weeks vacation, 1 week for sickness). - Compensation towards cell phone bill. - Company issued car. - Frequent fun company outings. Open door policy with all members of management including the President. Incredible company culture. Should you unfortunately experience any toxicity from the clients, TeamLogic is quick to fire the client in order protect their employees. It does not matter how "profitable" that client is, TeamLogic values employee's well being (both physically and mentally) above all else. I would say the biggest pro has to be the ability to make change within. Employee feedback/recommendation is constantly implemented when viable for the work place. Regardless of the department you work in, you are apart of the family.

Cons

These are the downsides of working at any MSP and not mutually exclusive to TeamLogicIT: - Constantly demanding clientele. - Rotating on-call schedule, meaning you may work after hours and weekends. - Accountable for tracking and recording your time, strongly enforced. - Nature of the business makes you prone to industry burn out.
