There is many cons to work at Tech Mahindra hub opened in July 2024 in Riga, Latvia: 1) Poor base salary, highest possible 1200 EUR net monthly. Lack of salary review, lack of salary growth. 2) Lack of language bonus, poor performance bonus (highest possible 200 EUR gross monthly). 3) Lack of basic benefits, including company's medical insurance, company's pension scheme, company's canteen, cafeteria, sport/gym cards, discounts. 4) Only poor medical services and poor pension scheme by the local state institutions are available. 5) Damaged or wrongly working work equipment, including laptops, company's kitchen stuff, toilets. 6) Third party involved into travel & accommodation, and immigration process makes problems to newcomers, delays immigration procedures, arranges poor temporary accommodation and poor flights by 'last minute' and 'fare first' airlines. 7) HR managers and line managers intimidate employees and trainees, create unhealthy dependences beyond the employment agreement terms and the local labor code. 8) Unfriendly and tensed work culture and work atmosphere. HR and line managers humiliate employees, trainers humiliate trainees, HR and management openly shows army-like disrespect and tyranny towards employees and trainees. Employees can not even keep a glass of water on the desk, for water they need to come to company's kitchen or to the dedicated locker where they can keep a bottle of water. Diversity and inclusion is completely ignored by the company, trainees are divided by trainers into groups by the support language, smaller language groups are openly named 'minorities' by the trainers. 9) Non-coordinated on-site trainings provided by frustrated and angry trainers in very large groups of trainees, non-useful trainings with self-contradictory and redundant content. Non-coordinated on-site work by the line managers, employees are overworked and overloaded by the work volume. Overtime is frequently mandatory and poorly paid. Working days are Monday-Saturday, worktime is 24 hours per day in 8.5-hour shifts. 30-minute break, obligatory by labor code, is unpaid. 10) Russian language instead of the corporate English language is commonly used in the daily communication, including HR, line managers and trainers.
