Another corporate cancer of Portugal without a will for an improvement. "Lisbon office" which is very far from actual Lisbon, has very bad commuting (public) services and the company doesn't help providing solutions. Not only this, but bad working shifts are only making it worse. No salary raise possibility, not even the inflation alignment - whereas Lisbon is one of the most expensive cities in Europe in terms of renting, you start losing money if keep working for the company. No career development opportunities, no hybrid work options which for the location and mentioned above working shifts is just unhuman, not modern and not meeting the needs of employees to say the least. The office is very poor, a lot of noise (no hybrid options = loud space), PAID vending machines, broken AC and heating most of the time.

1. Your effort will not be translated into monetary reward. If you perform really well you will get praise from the management but that's it. 2. Too many policies and bureaucracies to follow which are impacting even the work laptop performance. I have been embrassed for few times in front of clients when doing demo because their pages load too slow. Not because of network, but because of the network and system policy always scanning everything causing every thing to be sluggish. I've reported to helpdesk but they said they cant do anything about it except for replacing the laptop model to more latest one. 3. The expectation vs reward ratio is not balanced. We are expected to complete mid term appraisal while we have not received any info about hike for last year's annual appraisal. Total silent from management side. At least send us email informing that we should not hope for any hike this year.
