Pros
Good work/life balance where it is relatively easy to work a flexible schedule to accommodate needs outside the organization. The staff is progressive, diverse and deeply committed to doing good in the world.
Cons
Teams are very siloed in the organization with the left hand often not knowing what the right hand is doing. Part of this is due to a geographically distributed work force but part is also due to management not working hard enough to foster better collaboration and knowledge transfer between groups within the organization. In addition, most staff have not see merit pay raises or bonuses in quite some time. These, together, have led to a lowering of morale and an unacceptable level of competition and distrust between internal teams.
