Pros

The work is relatively easy and you are given plenty of time to do it. Coworkers fill in for each other without complaints. Managers rarely criticize anyone and are very helpful and understanding when you need time off or get an assignment in late (within reason). Standards are easily achievable. No pressure to work late. Nice comfortable building, easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Free individual serving coffee. Regularly scheduled parties for holidays. Best job I've had.

Cons

None that I can think of so far.

Pros

Office location and surroundings very pleasant. Benefits are superior to most companies with exceptionally low medical/dental/vision cost to employee. Numerous long-standing contracts providing job security and company growth has led to increase in staff approaching a total of 200 employees. Those with a science or medical background have many opportunities for growth and professional development.

Cons

Senior management often makes decisions based on speculation and hearsay instead of facts regarding employment matters. Foreign born CEO & CFO can at times talk poorly about those born/raised in the U.S. and often make generalizations about staff from various countries. Mid managers can be heard making innappropriate comments about candidates openly in hallways showing their preference for particular race or gender. Respect is demanded by CEO & CFO, but often project an elitist attitude towards staff. Communication from senior management is erratic and staff are expected to uphold standards that are often not clearly communicated or communicated to all. All levels of management participate in entirely too much gossip. Staff tend to become apathetic over time and while the majority are highly educated professionals, most behave like clock punching factory workers. Often met with a "not my problem" attitude by others making it difficult for new staff.
