-Many different departments -Versatile options for roles

Cons

-Nearly impossible to get raises (no cost of living increase for 5 years now) -Exceeds expectations performance rating does not get you a raise -Difficult to get recognition for diligent work -Promotions are difficult to come by and don't come with the raises that they once did (Engineer II to Engineer III is now around 5% instead of closer to 10% raise it used to be) -Employee engagement surveys get sent out and management does nothing to appease employee concerns -Layoffs have stretched many groups very thin, leaving people to do the job of multiple people and get paid the same
