      - Good work/life balance. - Good pay, typical to industry. - Interesting work. - Strong company values including safety. - Access to recreation near work.

      Cons

      - Poor career support. You may never be allowed to leave the job you started in. - Red tape which makes it difficult to do your job. (paperwork, systems, policies) - Some personnel have low morale. - Remote work sites which makes access to training, services and entertainment more difficult.

      Cons

      The industry is cyclic. When the price of the commodity is down, cutting happens. The toronto office has very limited career potential. most activity is at head office in Vancouver.
