      Lots of work, not a lot of room for learning how to set up.

      Pros

      Lots of work if you have the knowledge of lathes going into the position.

      Cons

      Won't be well trained or have the chance to learn how to set up. Management is very reactive instead of proactive, and only after problems actually affect them.
