Pros

The healthcare sector is interesting, and teladoc could do interesting things.

Cons

Management have no idea what theyre doing, very poor technical knowledge and people skills. The company is sinking and they keep squeezing to keep their job safe. Questionable values, bad tech stack and totally broken product from backend, front end and data platforms. Some great people but really individualist workforce

Pros

Young organization in health space Good stock options once it were

Cons

Senior QA Managers/Directors are hardly doing any work(Actually No Work), but put their nose in everything that we try to plan, with their unwanted ideas, further derailing the effort and to remain in the limelight. They conduct many unwanted meetings, which means we have to slog to execute the plan. We have some new Senior QA managers coming as part of department consolidation and, to my utter shock, they do nothing but to make their presence felt by asking stupid questions in the meeting and only go back to sleep throughout the entire day (yeah I was managing a huge effort but the Senior Manager and other management team were simply asking unwanted questions to make their presence felt). I did get a pay hike with promotion, but it was all lost when stock value was deprecated .I know staying with incompetent QA management means letting blind management lead the ship and with non-working QA managers means fierce politics to survive, as all know they do not have real work or dependency. I figured out each director created a mini kingdom for them with equally incompetent managers who screw other manager's good work. I know many of the QA engineers working in the quality department do not like the QA management because, rather than doing actual work, they do micromanagement and it is a constant source of frustration. Most of the team members reporting to me told me in private that they will quit as soon as they get a good option and their stocks get vested (after they know that I was quitting :)). Anyway, who cares I already quit on a good note :) Good Bye!!!
