Pros

Depending on the project, the pace can be chill or NOT.

Cons

They don't have a full-time proposal writer so therefore, our contracts are ending because we haven't won anything. More importantly though, I'm leaving this negative review because I was literally told by my leadership to "turn off my brain" during client meetings. Also, I never got a pay bump for my MBA, I became Project Manager because someone had left and I got $100 extra dollars for stepping into her role, and bonuses this year were a few dollars. Literally.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. Over the past year, the federal government has been in a contract elimination and consolidation phase. Many programs across multiple agencies have been reduced or fully cut, and unfortunately, the contract you were supporting was part of those reductions. These external changes, not individual performance, drove several staffing and workload adjustments across our teams. We understand your concerns about compensation and project responsibilities. We recognize that transitions can be challenging, especially during widespread federal cutbacks. TeleSolv remains committed to maintaining a professional environment where employees can voice concerns and receive transparent communication. Thank you for the work you contributed during your time on the project, and we wish you the best moving forward.

Thank you for your review and for being part of TeleSolv for over five years. Some roles within federal contracts have limited opportunities for advancement unless the agency or the contract itself expands. Unfortunately, the agency you supported began experiencing significant cuts starting in 2019, with a reduction of approximately 67% driven by federal administration changes. These cuts greatly limited internal movement and long-term progression within that specific contract. While we don’t know the individual circumstances behind your compensation history, we appreciate the time and commitment you dedicated to supporting our federal partners. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Decent/good pay (depending on position); little to no work;

Cons

No raise/bonus/retirement match; no growth opportunities or promotion potential; most contracts are fully in-person and you have to use PTO for any time you are out between your scheduled “shift” time; you gain 5hrs of PTO every 2 weeks (10hrs or 1.2 days a month); if your in-person attendance (hours worked) falls below 92% of your total hours you are automatically let go—they just want a warm body to fill a seat and satisfy the contract

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Regarding the comment about “little to no work,” it’s important to note that workload is determined solely by the federal agency’s internal needs. Even when agencies provide limited tasks, TeleSolv transitions employees to process improvement activities rather than releasing them. This is a choice we make to provide stability, continuity, and predictable income for our team, despite fluctuating client demands. Our attendance requirements and in-person expectations are guided by federal contract compliance standards, which all government contractors must follow. We understand these requirements can feel strict, and we do our best to communicate expectations clearly so employees know what to anticipate. Thank you for your contributions while supporting our federal partners.
