Pros
There's a pretty friendly culture in the warehouse. Everyone is working to complete their own objectives, but rely heavily on other teams for assistance. Making friends on other teams is a key to success and enjoyment here, in my experience as a low level supervisor. Fair compensation, 401k matching, solid PTO, and healthcare were definitely a welcome set of benefits for my first job out of school.
Cons
The vast majority of floor workers in non-supervisory positions come from temp agencies. Overall, the quality of workers was decent, but the turnover was really high, which placed undue stress on those of us who actually stuck around. We ended up short staffed far too often. Maybe if they received better pay and benefits directly from the company, there wouldn't be such high turnover. Also, I always felt like there was room for upward mobility, but checking back on my higher ups a year later, nobody seems to have been promoted, despite excellent work ethic and quality.
