      Pros

      - Steel industry market leader - Extremely diverse and multinational - Industry network led to lucrative O&G job - Able to move between unrelated departments - Taught me Spanish free of charge

      Cons

      - Cartel culture: family connections override all rules - Given the promotion's workload before the raise - Having to deal with cultural biases towards women - No communication with "Anglo" employees leads to low morale - Low trust: need to beg Argentina even if you are buying a pen

      -Great work experience because of new projects and investments -Pay is right at the middle of the scale -Benefits/401K is above average -Great opportunities: 6 months all expense paid working in Mexico

      Cons

      -Lots of OT (not much work/life balance) -Hierarchy is strictly enforced due to the culture -Hickman plant is located in a small town, not much to do after work -Lack of right skills for the job which can cause lower than expected results -Feel alienated when upper management or co-workers speak spanish in front of you

      Pros

      The company has a strong training program and benefits that are at a higher level from similar companies in the same industry.

      Cons

      Management does not have sense of workload or work balance. The amount of work is extremely high and they do not allocate additional resources to mitigate it. There is no strategic direction from upper management. These factors and the personality of expats cripple the huge potential of the company.
