Pros

Good benefits Good bonuses (indivudual performance bonus starts at 9% of annual base salary and company performance bonus starts at 10%) Good exposure to multicultural environment Best technology and good resources to help you make your job Fast-paced but organized and results-driven environment Lots of learning and training opportunities

Cons

You must work long hours and even during weekends. No work-life balance approach. No recognition from management when going the extra mile. Most managers have bad leadership skils and no interest in training and coaching direct reports. Relationships manager-report are too uneven, no respect for direct reports' ideas an opinions. Direct reports should only follow orders, no possibility of bringing your own ideas.

Pros

The growth potential is good if you are willing to work hard and be patient enough to take the time to learn the "Tenaris Way" before getting promoted to the next level. Tenaris is very particular about product and employee quality, so they are insistant on people learning how Tenaris does things as opposed to the way you have done your job elsewhere. They are open to new ideas, but it can be frustrating if you have not worked in a global company before. If you are looking for integrity in a CEO, this is the place. Rocca is one of the few CEO's you can trust in todays market.

Cons

The global standards to process, manufacturing, etc can be frustrating because it can not translate to the local cultures well, making the work more buerocratic than it needs to be. The expected hours are long due to the South American work ethic. They have a lot to learn about Work/Life balance if they hope to retain good employees.
