Pros

Teneo is a great place to dip your toes across many industries and fields. Some of the big pros of interning with Teneo include: 1. Being quickly entrusted with similar responsibilities as a entry level associate 2. Face time with MDs who were very willing to offer advice and talk about their own career paths 3. Very overall fun and relaxed office environment with a lot of friendly people

Cons

1. Some interactions with people who assigned you tasks felt very transnational and it can be frustrating to not understand your contributions within a bigger picture

Pros

You will never think inside the box again. The account teams are cross disciplinary (market analysts, business consultants, accountants, journalists, political advisers etc.) and the work is incredibly diverse. You are never just a cog in a wheel. What's pretty unique is that the owners really are the account leaders in reality, and not like my last consulting job where the client got to see my boss once a year. This place really pushed me to realize my potential.

Cons

Not a place where mediocrity can hide for long. You always have to have your cellphone on because the clients expect 24/7 access.

Amazing Learning Experience

Pros

Culture of meritocracy allows you to take on increasing responsibility as you prove yourself. Ability to learn from highly qualified senior leaders, who are always willing to provide advice and access to junior employees. Opportunity to work with major multinational companies on timely and challenging problems. Collaborative and friendly environment where people at all levels are willing to roll their sleeves up or share their expertise. Broad exposure across industries and situations helps junior employees build a range of skills.

Cons

Nature of certain client engagements can lead to demanding hours or unpredictable work schedules. Rapid growth of company has led to some growing pains around internal organization.
