Pros

Great people to work with.

Cons

Pretty high turn around. Health insurance is very expensive. Over 1k a month for my family. Holidays are required to take off and not paid.

Pros

The people who work there are great. I mean the nurses, MHW, supervisors, NPs, and docs. The units themselves are nice and spacious. You can make a lot of money through overtime and bonuses.

Cons

It's clear Tenet does things that do not jive with ethical or effective care. They constantly understaff. They are in trouble with the state for poor outcomes, staffing levels, and lack of services provided. They do ridiculous things like pay out thousands in bonuses and overtime, complain about this, then not approve new positions because our expenses are not categorized correctly. They turn over leadership like no place I have ever seen. One director of nursing lasted a month. One manager a week. That isn't even enough time to find the bathroom, but it was to know this is a sinking ship. They do not staff security appropriately, so emergencies are overwhelming. They have a pediatric unit that is really just a holding facility of violent adolescents that nobody wants to medicate, so the staff is assaulted A LOT. They have a geripsych unit that needs sitters, so patients fall. The staff is all alone. Tenet truly does not care. They'll pay the fine from the state and CMS for fraud, poor care, you name it. It just makes no sense. It's Massachusetts's fault for allowing a company with this reputation in here. Read stories on the Metrowest-Framingham Maternity Unit. You'll understand what I mean.
