      Great Pay but bad work-life balance

      Pros

      Pay is great. People in US are friendly and work together fine. Non management in Europe are great to work with as well.

      Cons

      Expected to work 12+ hours. Culture changed significantly (down) over the last 5 years. IT reports up to Europeans who have a different culture. They do not like participatory management.

      Simple Minded Company Attempting Advanced Technology

      Pros

      Reasonable salaries for entry level engineers. Flexible with comp time when traveling over the weekends.

      Cons

      Typically given VERY little advanced notice for international travel. (2 days -14 days advance notice). Upper management does not listen to sound engineering advice provided by the experts they hired. Direct managers are expected to manage 5-15 employees and also manage customers that their employees are responsible for. This leads to VERY POOR managing of the employees. It is a shame.

      Large paychecks for factory work, but excessive overtime.

      Pros

      Seems like a stable job, but having to work almost every day of the year gets to be ridiculous.

      Cons

      No accountability for the employees on the floor. Employees have been caught doing an outrageous amounts of things that would normally get them fired but have not even been reprimanded. Company continues to hire the same sort of lazy people that do not have even the meager work ethics of a fast food place.
