      Pros

      The Bennifits are pretty good, offers 401k and pension. Work weeks consist of 37.5 hours and we get about 12 holidays. You learn a larger variety of things not just related to IT but other government programs too.

      Cons

      The work environment lacks ambition, employees are grumpy and lazy. Leadership is not very great either.

      Pros

      The folks are friendly and the work is rewarding. There is no micromanaging of the job. The hours are flexible. The work is different and interesting.

      Cons

      Change does not come easy to the State. If various departments weren't so siloed a much more efficient operation could occur.
