Deceptive management

Pros

The only pro is that the company is tribally owned. However, there is a huge disconnect between the actual tribe and office managment.

Cons

The CHRO is a "yes" person which is why she has managed to stay in her position. The executive management is deceptive to the point that they removed my former review. This company has been tanking for a while. The only positive reviews are from the field environmentalists, who may enjoy their work but are desperately underpaid compared to competitors. Many clients and employees are unhappy with the services promised and not provided. This is the type of company that pinches pennies and watches dollars fly out the window.

Internship to Full-time

Pros

Starting out as an intern and transitioning into a full-time position has been an incredible experience at the Tepa Companies. When I began my journey to grow professionally, I was looking for a company that offered versatility in the skills I hoped to develop. The internship was just the beginning of discovering where I fit within the company and the marketing team. My team gave me the chance to dive into various projects and sit in on a wide range of meetings, which helped me become familiar with the inner workings of the company. The Tepa team truly focused on understanding my interests and strengths, providing opportunities that aligned with my expertise while also helping me expand my skillset. When it came time to extend my internship during the school year, my team offered a flexible schedule that included remote workdays and accommodations that worked for both of us. Shortly after, I accepted a full-time offer, with in-office work midweek and remote days on Mondays and Fridays. The interview process from start to finish was smooth and straightforward. The recruitment team kept me informed every step of the way– a special shoutout to Aleah! If you're looking for a company to launch your career and grow with long-term, Tepa offers many opportunities and is a wonderful place to do so.

Cons

I haven't had any cons that come to mind.

Pros

For Interns, management works well to ensure Interns are set up to succeed. Very learning focused, and structures internships well with Students schedules. If management feels the Internship went well, opportunities of Internship extensions are available. Bi-weekly check ins with management to ensure Intern growing/learning. Overall a great place to get your foot in the door.

Cons

Some departments often take vacations, which makes communication and coordination difficult on occasions.
