      Pros

      Very good benefits: medical and 401K. For the 401K the match is $0.50 for every dollar, up to 6%. For medical you have the choices of PPO and non-PPO. Usually good and friendly atmosphere. Free gym on site.

      Cons

      Sometimes it can be stressful to meet all the deadlines. Salary is below industry average. Raises and bonus are meager. Promotions are hard to get. Average age is over 45 year old

      Easy to move around from position to position Fairly stable Competitive salary and fair bonus structure

      Cons

      Need to have gray hair to be respected Teradata is a hardware company at it's heart Having real troubles adapting to the new realities of cloud-computing and SAAS/on-demand

      smart people, used to be a great product

      Cons

      No strategy for growth. Too much time spent on academic projects with zero desire from customers. Leadership became increasingly secretive, never would address questions in a straight forward way. Too focused on hardware. Engineering has zero direction and zero innovative thinking.
