      Hard to bridge the "off-shore gap"

      Pros

      Work-life balance. Nice cash bonus and benefits. Frequent business travel opportunities.

      Cons

      If working in off-shore location then you will probably end-up doing SW validation or other menial tasks. It is difficult to "bridge the gap" to land interesting work on the design team.
