      Pros

      Great pay, fun people to work with, lots of cool toys. Very easy to integrate into the community, and plenty of source material to work from.

      Cons

      Not a lot of opportunities for advancement, cubicle-layout is stifling, and a lot of technology is either outdated or requires a complete rework.

      Like many companies in the semiconductor industry, business is cyclical and brings stress during the downturns. Business is worldwide, so working in the US means dealing with sites around the world on urgent issues, which can place excessive demands on employees' time.
