Great for employees and computer systems; Poor for Quality and Compliance

Pros

Terumo CVS treats their employees great, with good working environment and upper management visibility and encouragement. They are using great management, training and project tools with an IT department that is on-site, very responsive and up-to-date on their systems.

Cons

TCVS management is focused and very knowledgeable on marketing and sales, but does not understand, or accept, regulatory and quality requirements and realities and doesn't appear to understand staffing levels, ROI, or make vs. buy decisions for both product and equipment. Even with large profit margins, they have an unsustainable model from both purely business and regulatory standpoints.

A job filled with empty promises

Pros

Decent salary, joined the company during major change so enough opportunities to learn "new" things.

Cons

Local DC managment leads by cronyism, it`s more important to find a person to blame then to find the rootcause of the problem, not listening to employer feedback, making a lot of promisses to employers but don`t deliver.

Looking for Leadership

Pros

Many of the employees are passionate and care about seeing the company succeed through the consent decree. Some very talented people. Fan of the CEO.

Cons

Key positions not filled in over 12 months. No process addressing lessons learned therefore repeating mistakes (emphasis on project management). Lack of accountability and leadership (Would be interesting to know Terumo's definition of leadership). Communication is forced and is from the top down. Resource needs are addressed by robbing Peter to pay Paul. Consistently losing good people. Morale very low. Yearly perfornance process is a great example of a process that often does more harm than good, more of a check box than actually adding value. Not impressed with some executive management.
