Pros

Management was super considerate and forthcoming during federal funding cuts, and they pay better than most international development jobs.

Cons

Time off policy is not great, and takes a long time to earn more. The 401k also requires 5 years to fully vest, so between the two you earn limited benefits until you have been there for 5+ years.

Lots of overtime Good experience building More relaxed than other consulting firms I’ve worked for Tons of travel and field work if that’s what you’re looking for

Cons

You’ll be putting in a lot of hours Benefits aren’t great as a part time employee If you don’t like travel or field work, probably not a great fit
