Business Outlook
Pros
Good experience working both in the field and carrying out design work. Great people to work with and lots of learning opportunities if you show interest. Good reputation as far as geotechnical engineering goes, therefore general good projects on-the-go.
Cons
As Junior you certainly start with the grunt field work and have to work your way up. Pay isn't generally amazing, but likely typical for consulting engineering. OT is time-and-a-half, which is a bonus when doing field work!
