      Pros

      I got a lot of experience and made networking connections. I got a lot of experience that I apply to my job now. I got to travel and do that I may have not done otherwise. They paid for some graduate work I did.

      Cons

      I was project staff and fully billable for almost 7 years. When the work ended I was treated like I had done nothing for the company as was put on furlough status waiting for a contract. I understand the economy is bad but I was really surprised and disappointed after working as hard as I did for the company. It was time to move on to a federal government position which I have thoroughly enjoyed and am happy to have in such unstable times.

      Pros

      Management allowed staff to take initiative in working on projects allowing for room for advancement. Management also attempted keep up employee morale with annual company party. Knowledgeable people offered the opportunity to learn.

      Cons

      While allowing for advancement, project managers did not provide enough mentorship and direction for junior staff. Compensation was fairly low amongst industry standards and when employees were light on work, it was i and implied that vacation time should be used.

      Pros

      The health benefits are wonderful at Tetra Tech. The stock options are amazing. I find that the overall environment is very pleasing and most the people have been with the company for a very long time. We all enjoy each other and its a great place to work. I especially enjoy the teamwork that happens cross states.

      Cons

      I have not found too many cons at Tetra Tech. We are all hard working and it shows in our job performance.
