      Pros

      - provides great opportunities to grow professionally - supportive managers and coworkers - Good work-life balance - small office feel with large company resources - Great benefits

      Cons

      - old school culture and bureaucratic structure can make what should be easy day-to-day tasks painful (think multiple conference calls when an email would suffice) - internal promotion often means significantly more responsibility with relatively low increases in compensation

      Pros

      The benefits package they offered was comprehensive and great for a single individual. Ability to work as much as you desire if you can travel out of state.

      Cons

      Work was not consistent and the management puts it on the individual to find work. It felt like begging after a certain point asking around for tasks to do because every single hour needs to be billable. No overhead charge code what so ever. They want to send you out of state for extended periods of time constantly and they don't pay enough for what they are requesting. Being on call for emergency responses can be a huge headache - Tetra Tech profits an insane amount off of a level 1 scientist. I was paid a third of what they were billing the client. Stingy with raises and no bonuses.
