Pros

They lure you in with great pay and allegedly great benefits

Cons

The money isn't worth it once you break down the time you spend actually working- working through lunches. Requests for vacation are routinely denied or asked to be scheduled up to more than a year in advance. Expect to get dumped on if you call in sick. There is no family-friendly attitude here. During holidays or immediately following, they expect 80% of the staff in the office to answer phones- that don't ring. Nevermind their silly mandate for someone to stay until 5:30 on each adjuster team to answer phones. With Austin traffic, don't expect to get home to your family until after 7pm.

Pros

The people I work with are awesome team players.

Cons

Management has unrealistic expectations. Claims supervisors work 7 days a week and expect their employees to do the same. Claims employees are dropping like flies and creating a workload that is hard to manage. If you do not work overtime you will not be promoted or recognized.

Pros

My coworkers are great! Nice location with garage parking. The new claims senior manager is great, and truly seems to care.

Cons

There is a supervisor that is running off adjusters by not treating people fairly. The supervisor has no experience. Diary notes are put in the file that could case lawsuits.
