Pros

very flexible schedule. The professors are very knowledgeable and work with you if you need extra time for grading or turning in work.

Cons

The job can be monotonous. There will be those students who will test your last nerve and will try to find a way to pass even though they mathematically are destined to fail the course. Growing student body....

Pros

They have a relaxed atmosphere and a great campus; Texas has no prettier campus. The people are mostly great. There is a river nearby if you just have to tube during lunch.

Cons

Benefits and pay are relatively dismal. The tools and technology are fairly outdated. The gym is not free for employee use (because of the excuse that it is paid for by student fees). You have to pay for parking on the campus. And, finally, they are constantly asking you to donate to various programs run by the University (with mild political pressure); basically asking you to pay them for paying you.
