      university politics is a major drawback no respect from academic deans toward adjunct faculty no recognition of performance by administration

      Pros

      Great vacation and sick leave policy. I had an office, where at other jobs I might not have had one.

      Cons

      Everyone was required to pay for a parking pass. I figure this should be given to employees as everyone I knew drove their car to work. The pension was fine, but it took a very large chunk out of every paycheck.
