Pros

Great management and coworkers. Work is always changing with new situations and you get to help both people and companies.

Cons

A lot of work for the salary. Definitely could get paid more. People who work for the city make more doing the same thing with a fewer case load.

Pros

Great dedicated co-workers; excellent benefits

Cons

There is neither merit promotion nor substantial increase (still making less 30K). Our ISAM only shows up at the center if there is an issue involving a State employee otherwise we never see him. State management has done nothing to advance our careers, that's why the younger employees tend to leave because they don't want to be stuck for there is NO career ladder; nothing to look forward to except retirement.
