Pros

You get to help people who otherwise might not get it.

Cons

TWC transition is brutal. "Career ladder" seems to be more of a myth even to those who work hard and deserve it. Not enough support/resources/direction to be successful. Too stressful for the pay and the pay is too low for a job that requires a masters degree. Unrealistic expectations of staff.

Pros

Working with the Texas Workforce is rewarding and the system is easy to follow.

Cons

Filling out some of the paperwork might need individual attention, based on personal circumstances.
