Pros

You can feel good that you are supporting students with learning differences.

Cons

Since they took over Don Johnston, the culture, org design, way of working, even the tools themselves have taken a SHARP nose dive. They only care about profits, they do not care about the tools or the students. They are unorganized, the leadership doesn't care about anything but the company. They are going through another merger and forming a totally new company because they have trashed the reputation of every other company they have acquired so badly in the industry that no one wants to work with them anymore. They just laid off a bunch of people in this new merger right before the holidays - letting go some of the best people and keeping those they can pay less and improve their bottom line. They only make money or seem profitable by purchasing more companies. If you want constant change, terrible leadership, corporate greed - then work here. They do not care about employees AT ALL. Not even a bit.

Pros

-Good employees with lots of expertise -Supportive teams (people figured out how to support each other) -Good products (when they work) Hopefully their next merger will help them clean house and get rid of toxic leadership so that the good people they have can do some work.

Cons

-No transparency in pay, your commission is anyone’s guess…including the people writing your checks -Not one reliable system in use -All decisions made by a group of men who make no attempt to hide their misogyny -Questions not welcome. Leadership will openly and publicly degrade anyone with questions about pay, policies, changes, anything. This is standard at pretty much every meeting. -The company itself does not practice any of the inclusion they love to post about -They love to talk about going carbon neutral but they will fly their boys club anywhere for a weekend of partying

Pros

Great managers, autonomy; the company is very invested in the success of their people - I have never seen anything like this. I really do love working here. Schedule can be flexible - they tell us that we are adults, and we are!

Cons

Any "process" issues in the past have been fixed/corrected. So, no cons at this point.
