      Stay away from Textron

      Pros

      The people, the health room. Medical benefits is so so. The people are willing to help you when their assistance is needed. The health room is a plus. No need for yearly membership fees. The equipment is satisfactory for an aerobic or weight training. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A huge plus on working out at any time of the day.

      Cons

      No straight overtime for salary Medical is so so. Too many tiers of management. lack of feed back for encouragment or "job well done" No positive attitudes from management to motivate in coming to work.

      Pros

      Relocation benefits were great. Then it started to suck. Big time. They act like they have it together. In reality, they are really missing a big element of business: people. They will never be competitive with the poor leadership they have in place.

      Cons

      Everything. Six sigma is KILLING the organization. Senior management is ridiculous -no one is accountable. Their matrices and micromanagement techniques for all of the businesses is just in the stupid category. The whole company is run by morons. And, the company president's secretary -here and at other units are really witches in disguise. Most have been with the company so long that they "can't be fired" -or so we're told. It is a HUGE joke.
