It’s so chaotic that it forces you to learn and pickup many skill quickly.
Cons
Absolutely no regard for work life balance. Managers will call you before you come into the office and after you leave. I’ve received calls at 9pm and weekends, expected to complete any requested tasks. There’s a lack of accountability at every level. Senior leadership sucks and it trickles down to Managers. No one is focused on solutions, only on blaming others for ongoing problems. They promote based on personal relationships. There is no merit based reward or career trajectory. It solely depends on if they like you. I’ve seen people in the same role for 4+ years go without promotions, and have new hire colleagues get promoted before them with no prior experience and zero grasp of their current job responsibilities. The raises are awful and they have lay-offs every year. No regard for their employees at all.
