A paycheck with ZERO career advancement

Pros

Always something to do if you are motivated

Cons

Leadership at remote sites is horrendous. They have little to no understanding of what they are doing. Terrible decisions making methods and the company doesn't care enough to train leaders. HR is non-existent, 2 years of complaints and reports, to include legal and DOD help line reports ignored until finally someone was assaulted by a leader in the workplace. Corporate locations might be ok but stay far away from the satellite locations.

Pros

Decent pay Unique opportunities Different locations

Cons

The company gets you into a lot of financial obligations by constantly moving you around. If you leave- you have to repay all of that money The LDP mangers do a bad job at placing participants at jobs. Many of my peers have been stuck in positions where they performed custodial duties more than they performed any supply chain duties The money given to assist you in moving is often not enough to cover moving expenses The program has a retention rate of under 50%, meaning more than half of people who join quit before they complete the two year program. The program has a bad reputation at business units, you will be considered an intern, and nothing more.

Pros

Salary is ok with ok benefits. No clock in and out (no over time). A lot of time off including parental leave for birth. If you want to start and learn that will only last about 1 year and I would suggest leaving. Depending on the manager it can be better experience. Salary raise happens every year and can be done based on performance if you out perform expectations. usually 3% increase per year and maximum salary increase was 5% my first year do to outperforming every engineer.

Cons

Fast pace with disorganization and pushing engineers to complete tasks for a short time frame causing errors. Poor documentation up keep and even worst Administration. Engineers do work of 3 other people at any given time causing unnecessary frustration and people finding cheats to ease the work load (not in a good way).
