      Great people on the lower end.

      Pros

      Despite what some of the whiners are complaining about this remains a great place to work whether your are beginning your career or are experienced. Freedom to solve problems your own way, not a lot of micromanagement. Good benefits, good pay, flexible work hours. Interesting products and services. Great career opportunities! Lots of room for growth. They have a promote from within policy that really supports career growth. Some things have changed since being bought by Textron but more than 95% of those are positive changes... despite the whining.

      Cons

      some level of red tape to deal with but not unusal for a defense contractor. some folks here, at all levels, that are not top notch -- but again not much different than other places.

      Director and below you will find outstanding people who are vastly intelligent. Interesting technology; potential for greatness exists...

      Cons

      There exists a toxic work environment due to the fact 90% of all Vice Presidents are inexperienced, lack basic business acumen, and are cowed to the Textron Systems CEO. Due to the continual onslaught of poor management decisions, lack of leadership in nearly all areas, the company is, for the most part, in paralysis. Pay is far below average.
