Pros

Good snack area and nice facilities

Cons

Extremely poor management. CEO gets off threatening to fire people. Has no concept of team building and overall effective management. Micromanagement is the culture of the organization. If you have some serious mummy issues, then you would love this else run for the hills.

Pros

Might be preferable to unemployment. Office has snacks. They stopped playing music over the PA at all times

Cons

The CEO is terrible and engages in erratic and bulling behavior. For example: He insists that any urgent issues be printed out on pink paper and taped to the door of all the managers in the company. there's usually at least 3 on each door. Having a policy of "if the customer calls me on my cell and complains, I will do whatever they ask, and no one goes home until it's done" with no overtime pay or additional compensation for staying several hours late frequently. Any semblance of standard processes goes out the window when this happens, even when it's going to generate lots of extra non-billable work. Management plays this off as a normal "fast paced IT environment" when this level of lack of process and chaos is not normal in any way. It's not "fast-paced" it's just chaos. Constantly referring to himself as "the guy who signs your paycheck" or "the king [of the company]", often implying, if not outright stating, that whatever it is he's mad about better go away or it's your job. Firing almost every Business analyst and Project manager. In the time I worked there, they hired and lost/fired 8 analysts (for 4ish open positions), and 7 PM's (also for 4ish positions). They currently only have one of each, and frankly, if I was them I'd be worried about my job security. DO NOT TAKE A JOB AS A BA OR PM, you will be belittled, ridiculed, and fired. As a result, no one understands any of the client's processes or needs. Seriously, when you have that kind of turn over, that means it's you, not the people you're hiring. Yes there's always turnover in IT, but not at THAT order of magnitude. There's another, also very serious problem they have: they can't upgrade their software. The process is nonexistant (not that thatcher makes a habit of following a process), and isn't getting better, since they lost/fired everyone who knows how to upgrade a client. They also lost/fired everyone who knows how to set up a new client, so they're probably going to have serious problems picking up new business, and probably serious problems keeping the business they DO have. This extreme turnover rate is indicative of management problems. This is not "people who can't handle the pace" or "people who just don't want to work", those things happen, but not at the rates you're looking at. When you have turnover rates THAT high, combined with this many glassdoor reviews saying working there is like being in an abusive relationship and/or personal living hell, any leader worth following would do some deep soul searching and make some big bold and permanent changes to their style of management. They are taking good workers and turning them into bad workers. If you're in Implementation, for every ticket, you're expected to PRINT OUT the ticket, and two other pieces of paper describing all the work you did on the ticket, even though all of that could very easy be done digitally on the ticket itself. This adds extra work and a feeling of "why do I still work here?" whenever tickets are closed. When that was brought up as a demoralizing waste of time, the response from management was " we need you all to adhere to the old process before we can trust you all to move on to a new process" even though the process was not being followed on account of the whole "demoralizing waste of time" thing. This reveals quite a bit about management's abilities, and their faith in yours. On top of all of this, their clients are evil. They're pyramid schemes and most of them are selling worthless garbage products (pyramid scheme as in, you sign up, then recruit people to sell the product for you, and you get a commission on their sales, and the people they recruit. Over 70% of these recruits never earn any money themselves, according to their legally required filings). Google "MLM scam" or "Direct sales scam" for a fuller picture of how that industry works. If you work there, you're participating in making the world a worse place. You're helping a company train con artists to bilk money out of their friends and family, by selling them worthless products for way too much money. The only reason they're still in business is that no one with any real talent wants anything to do with this limited industry with a very bad reputation. Though, if I were a pyramid scheme operator, I'd be considering other options. in conclusion, if you're thinking of applying, or have applied, don't take the job. If you're a potential client, you're making the world a worse place, so go for it, you'll get what you deserve. This was far and away the worst place I ever worked.

Pros

Office is beautiful, tremendous opportunity for those willing to sacrifice everything else, very nice area in Naperville, free snacks. Occasional lunch events.

Cons

The company does not care whatsoever about you as a person, you are solely a robot there to make them money. A 40 hour work week is considered a joke/dream at this company. No one ever has time to answer questions/clarify things, you will be on your own without any guidance on very challenging, time crunched projects. There are strong cliques of those who have knowledge and are unwilling to share. There are constant interdepartmental disputes and lack of communication which causes problems. Code base is a giant mess of technical debt given the strict time demands on projects and lack of maintenance.
