Undertakes interesting AI work in environment and sustainability, health and defence.

Cons

Exec Management has rapidly deteriorated, resulting in a range of good staff leaving - from senior leaders to data scientists and business teams. They don’t know how to value staff and engage them in effective, two-way communication. This has resulted in the staff not being consulted in decision making processes affecting their job security, resulting in disenfranchisement.

Great people in terms of researchers and many of the other staff who should really have been promoted to leadership as they are the ones doing the great work and understanding the organisation.

Cons

Senior management and leadership are awful. They've been awful for years. There used to be some great business team who worked here and left because the terrible senior management seemed to try their hardest to prevent anyone overtaking their own careers. Bias and misuse of funds. Really not great.

The leadership team is doing a terrible job of transitioning the institute. It's pretty chaotic and communication has been terrible
