Arora youth care worker

Pros

It is an amazing experience to be able to Provide support to this kids that have been through too much and need to get reunited with family. In the transition, it is our responsibility to make sure they are properly cared of, have their basic needs and have medical support (including mental health). It is great to be able to properly translate for them, and bring help out as much as possible so they feel safe at the shelter.

Cons

Still need a lot of organization, more people to help out and that they are given enough cloths, proper restrooms shower time, and more space. Sometimes I feel that they are being treated with less rights than a prison but that is why we are their to improve those things so it is a lot of pressure and humanity so I think is not for everyone, unless you really want to be a leader and find ways to improve the conditions this kids live in.

Unfortunately, the constructive suggestions you make are ones controlled exclusively by our customer (the prime contractor) as well as the government, which I believe your project manager discussed with you. Nevertheless, we appreciate them and will continue to provide our customer with additional ways to improve our employees' experience at the shelter.
