Best Place For Turnover

Pros

Not a lot of pros here. Management and other colleagues are great.

Cons

You'll constantly be threatened to be fired, anything you say or do will be noted, and the turnover is insane. If you stay for about six months you'll probably be considered one of the senior employees.

Great People, Bad Envrionment

Pros

Will find some great humans, and great minds in the recruiting business. Some managers are the best mentors you will find, but there is an aura of fear around the upper management (needs to be solved). Most of their top performers leave if not directly related to ownership. Commission structure is outdated and unfair (does not promote staying long term). Phenomenal industry training from highly successful individuals.

Cons

Performance is not measured on deals done, and your performance at lower levels is highly dependent on those above you. Performance is measured strictly by KPI’s (calls made and time spent at desk) and needs to be adjusted for the changing workforce trends. You will take the blame for missed opportunities when just beginning. Promotions are based on emotion, and how much money you made the month before they decide to make team improvements. Highest turnover I’ve seen in an NJ recruiting company so be aware

Pros

If you want to join a company that offers legitimate career growth and development, a strong company culture, and supportive leadership there is no place better! There has always been an open door policy with leadership and all the tools are provided to achieve success. From the most up to date recruiting and sales software's, multiple computer monitors, personal standing desks, and a year end all inclusive trip are just a few examples that show how management goes above and beyond to try and make this company the best place it can be! Throughout my tenure with The Axel Group there has always been a blueprint provided on how to reach your goal and achieve success. It is a collaborative and team oriented atmosphere that offers a strong and effective training program, on going development, and full transparency.

Cons

The tough truth is that sales is demanding and challenging. The staffing and recruiting industry is not for everyone. Selling can be difficult for people who lack discipline and that struggle in a competitive environment that is goal oriented. Many have came here and taken advantage of all the tools that are provided and have earned well over six figures and carved out a great career for themselves. While others, who are not as ambitious and determined have not worked out. Overall, the success stories outweigh the opportunities missed!
