      Pros

      Lots of fantastic people to work with, great environment, pretty decent benefits, good work/life balance. Broad is willing to hire less experienced employees, so this may be a great place to start your career.

      Cons

      Admin staff is secondary to scientists and you will be constantly reminded of it. The salaries are noticeably lower than industry average. Admin career paths are somewhat limited and when you chose to leave Broad - you would discover that nobody really knows what Broad is outside of research community.

      Pros

      coming from industry, this place is amazing. every day there is an opportunity to listen to lectures and talks by leading researchers and scientists in their field. the buildings are new and employees are provided the tools they need to succeed. the people that work and succeed at the broad are self motivating and driven, which means that the team you work on is likely to be successful and have people that are engaged. as others have mentioned, the benefits are also incredible.

      Cons

      i can't think of any, the broad is the perfect work environment for me.
