Pros

TCF is doing journalism like no one else in the business, and the summer internship program provides a wonderful way to be a part of it! You learn how to report on business, politics and do full-scale investigations in a totally unique way. There are very few jobs or publications where you can come out with experience in all of those areas and very few places who are really covering the deep connections between the three. Definitely a worthwhile experience!

Cons

This is a great place to work. I could not recommend it enough! Their work-life balance and company culture is killer.

Pros

Good salary, if you can manage not to get fired out of nowhere

Cons

Founders have no idea what they want so it's a revolving door. Arbitrarily closing departments and changing editorial direction. No way to publish because there's no structure and founders outright reject ideas and articles in formulation for months.
