Pros

I enjoy the people that I work with and the work-life balance has been very good the past few years. This may change coming up with return to office. Salary and benefits are just okay, in line with most large corporate positions.

Cons

Compensation compression is killing the internal employees who have been with the company long-term as wages are way behind inflation, especially in the last few years. "Return to Work" (back in the office) has really hurt morale, especially for teams like mine that are spaced across different locations. Employees are upset that they will have to spend time and money to go into the office to basically log in to WebEx and have virtual meetings. High performers are looking to leave as this is seen as a pay cut.

Pros

I get to work with up to date tech in a healthy and very capable team. My manager is fantastic, as is my team lead.

Cons

I was hired as a fully remote employee. I'm now being assigned to an office, despite living more than three hours away from the nearest one. The company has said they will not provide cost of living adjustments to any employees that have to relocate, and that relocation expenses would be scrutinized on a case by case basis. I live in a low cost of living area. This was used against me during salary negotiations. I'm now being told I'll need to move somewhere more expensive and without additional compensation. This company just does not care. However, if you are a person reading this, you do care about your own well being. Cigna does not, and you should keep this in mind before accepting an offer here.

DISCRIMINATION

Pros

The discrimination was so terrible. I can't think of any pros.

Cons

THIS COMPANY ENGAGED IN DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ME FOR HAVING A CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITION. They engaged in discrimination against me and retaliation for reporting the discrimination. They failed to do anything about it except to force me out of the company. The people who engaged in the DISCRIMINATION are still employed with this company.
