Pros

Great people, products and experiences. Lots of activity and opportunities to distinguish yourself. You get to make a positive impact on recognizable brands and make connections with people across different functions.

Cons

Clorox is undergoing a culture change. Hard to tell how it will end up. Upper management has been criticized for failing to change. Now it seems they have listened and some employees are upset about how things are changing. I do not know how it will all shake out, some good people have been cast away as part of the transition. I hate to see them go.

Pros

Very talented co-workers at lower and middle levels that you will learn a tremendous amount from. Good marketing and brands, very well operated. If you have the right internal champaign, you can go very far in the company.

Cons

You are only as good as your latest success. No one seems to remember or value an individual's body of work. If you don't have a strong internal champaign at a high level, your career potential is limited. You have to know what senior leadership values in style and portray that. Substance is not as important. Very inconsistent people leadership - some groups a 'revolving door' of team members without anything being done about it. Extremely risk averse - many opportunities missed because the company took too long to evaluate and someone else got out into the market sooner

Clorox is overall a good place to work The work itself is very interesting and engaging and who wouldn't want to live in California?

Cons

Clorox is quite a conservative company (in the business sense) which can be quite frustrating at times. Like any company there is a great deal of politics.
