Pros
Amazing Benefits - Insurance policies are excellent and 100% paid for by the company. 401K contribution is matched up to 3%. Fun and exciting quarterly outings/events sponsored by the company. Free breakfast on the 5th Friday of months that have 5 Fridays. New management has taken over and they are working hard to improve the things that are outdated. Very laid back atmosphere - no micromanaging here! If you have an issue, you are encouraged to speak with your manager about it to come up with a solution that works for everyone. Personally, I have worked at FAR worse places with managers that micro-managed every little thing that I did and watched me like a hawk to ensure that I didn't make mistakes. That is most definitely NOT the case here. I am trained for a task and left alone to do my job. When I make mistakes, I am shown how to prevent it from happening. I have never been scolded or made to feel 2 inches tall. I am encouraged, my hard work is recognized and I am never asked to work ungodly hours. When I was snowed in a few weeks ago, I was told not to put myself in an uncomfortable position by driving to work. This really showed me that my safety was more important than my job being done for a day or two. I feel like I am trusted with my responsibilities, I am given confidence in job security and most importantly, I know that what I do here is valued. I am very happy here and I can certainly say that I will be here for many years to come. I look forward to coming to work each day and working with the other amazing people that are employed here. You are going to have problems and BS no matter where you go for employment. But here, the BS is definitely minimal. The good absolutely outweighs the bad. It's a great place to be employed.
Cons
Paid time off MUST be used when missing more than two hours of work. - (this is not optional) Policies and Employee Handbook need a complete overhaul. Some employees are allowed to do things that are against policy, while others aren't.
