Toxic Culture

Pros

Decent health insurance, pay is mediocre

Cons

Leadership is toxic, the culture is a comedy show, they don't do what they say they are going to, your voice and opinion doesn't matter, you can't trust management, they are making people come to work during COVID-19 because they are essential but really they care about money. They fire people on a monthly basis as a scare tactic.

Thank you for your more than three years of service at The Connor Group. Our unique company culture is something The Connor Group takes pride in, and we realize it isn’t for everyone. During these difficult times, we are one of many businesses considered essential under executive orders issued in the states we operate in. It is important that we continue to serve our residents at our more than 12,000 apartment units nationwide. We make more than 7,000 repairs a month, and are managing 174 construction and critical infrastructure projects. Making sure our residents have working stoves, hot water, repairing clogged tubs or toilets, trash collection, etc. are all essential – especially with so many people in our communities staying home. We understand these are difficult times for everyone, and are doing our part to comply with all social distancing and sanitation best practices while providing excellent customer service to our residents. Our associates opinions and voices are heard and absolutely matter. Unfortunately, like most things, opinions vary widely and we will continue to do what is best for the majority of our associates and residents.

Pros

The insurance benefits are a good deal.

Cons

Theres almost too many to count but basically they will lie about what your expected to do from the start and i was even told "we dont hire people with experience they want to be paid more and we ask you to do to many things". So 90% maintenance employees quit or get fired within 6 months! all the employees i met distrust the company and the entire maintenance crew all 5 guys were told we may be fired soon to try again and rehire everyone(they did this 6 months ago when i was hired?)
