Pros

if you stick around long enough to be apart of a supplemental, thats cool! Nice dinner and a little R&R

Cons

LITERALLY EVERYTHING!!! It's honestly not even worth writing it all out. check out the reviews on all different properties. the bad ones are the real ones. check out the BBB reviews. those are legit.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry to read things didn't work out for you here. I do agree with you to that people interested in TCG should read every review and determine for themselves which are legit and which are not. I am very confident in people being able to absolutely tell the difference. I wish you well.

Pros

Good amount of PTO (the trick is actually getting them to let you use it. "how will you make your goals if you're taking time off?" is the type of pushback you get if you try to use it) & did not have to work holidays in December.

Cons

Was completely lied to during the recruiting process. And I wasn't the only one, I talked to 3 others in the region who were told the same lies. I was lied to about compensation, scheduling, location of where I would actually be working, etc..That's just a few of the ways TCG gas lights its people. They sell you on all of the commission possibility but then make you sell really non "luxury" apartments at extremely high costs. The goals they set are unobtainable. You are taught to strong arm and MANIPULATE future/current residents. Once the signature is obtained, the resident is likely not spoken to again until it's time to give them an increase on their renewal. The Connor Group take no pride in the grounds of there properties. Rats, Roaches, Floods, Stinky Hallways, Outdated decor, etc. Upper management is a joke. They must have paid a pretty penny to be given awards like "best company culture" and "best place for women to work." Regional manager will yell, cuss, berate, make you cry. They do not care about you. They care about making money. They prey on people who come from retail/restaurants so they can break you, under the façade that "you're getting out of retail and building a real career."

I am sorry to hear you had a negative experience with The Connor Group. Specifically, that you felt misinformation was given to you during the recruiting process. We absolutely pride ourselves on being open and transparent about working here. We also are upfront this job is difficult and is for the best of the best – and frankly, it’s not for everyone. Our company awards for culture and best places to work were NOT paid for. Our associates reviews on third-party websites earned us the recognition. We also take COVID 19 extremely seriously. Our residents and our associates safety are our top priority. We’ve taken every precaution recommended by the CDC and have provided our associates hundreds of thousands of dollars in Childcare assistance, paid time off for testing/quarantines, and even expanded our associate loan program. We’ve also given away more than $1.5 million in small business loans to help other businesses throughout these difficult times. We regularly maintain our apartments, and do not have pest or flood issues throughout our luxury apartments. We work to maintain the highest standards for our residents at all times to deliver excellent customer service. It’s part of our company’s core values of Doing the Right thing. If you feel you were given false information during the recruiting process I would like to discuss directly with you so we can address and correct this problem if necessary. Please contact me directly at 937-350-3415.

Pros

Great pay and benefits, rewarded with gifts for a job well done.

Cons

Unsustainably high work load, no days off, benefit time you don't get to use or you are looked down upon, everything is the property managers fault, you have to say "yes, sir" to everything. If you have a family, you cannot work here successfully.
