’ve been with The Connor Group for almost two years, and my experience has been incredibly rewarding. During that time, I’ve earned a promotion and had the opportunity to attend four award ceremonies, which really speaks to the company’s commitment to recognizing performance and results. The culture here is one of the strongest aspects of the organization. It’s high-energy, driven, and centered around excellence. You’re surrounded by associates who push you to be better every day. Accountability is real — your peers will absolutely hold you to a high standard. At the same time, it’s just as important to hold yourself accountable. If you’re not succeeding, you’ll know. The expectations are clear, and performance is visible. At the end of the day, the work you put in is exactly what you get out. If you’re willing to invest the time, energy, and focus, the opportunities for growth, recognition, and advancement are very real.

Cons

One thing to be aware of is work-life balance. This is not a place where you coast. You will likely put in more hours than you initially expect. Success here requires an elite mentality — you have to be mentally tough, goal-oriented, and committed to constant improvement. The environment isn’t for everyone, but for those who thrive in high-performance settings, it’s extremely fulfilling

The people and culture are hands down the best I've ever experienced. Everyone is genuinely welcoming, supportive, and authentic, no fake vibes here. The company truly prioritizes doing the right thing, personal growth, and helping you excel in your career. Compensation is excellent (great base pay + strong commission/bonus potential), benefits are top-notch, and the 401k match is generous. There's a real sense of accomplishment and pride in the work—seeing properties thrive and residents happy makes the effort feel rewarding.

Cons

Really nothing, but it's not for everyone. The hours can be long (especially in property management/sales roles with resident needs, leasing events, and on-call responsibilities), but they're very rewarding when you see the results of your hard work
